Bump Brief #23

Bump Brief #23: 30 weeks

How far along? 30 weeks, baby is the size of a cantaloupe.

Total weight gain/loss: 156 today. No gain for the past 2 weeks. Super crazy since I eat a ton. I feel huge and I am definitely growing. Maybe my scale is broken...?
Stretch marks? Not on my stomach. I feel like the ones under my boobs are either coming back or I'm getting more. Can't tell for sure. 
Sleep: Not great. Toss and turn all night. I even woke Jason up one night which is really hard to do. Sorry, hun! 
Best moment this week: Maternity pictures! I won't get them for a few weeks, but it was still fun to do. I took my own with Nate and it was nice to have someone else take them of us for a change. Also...these pants in the bump shots. I have 3 pairs. I feel like I'm part MC Hammer and part in pajamas. Yes, I wear them in public. They are so comfortable, Cheap ($8.99-12.99), and I can wear them after baby. #toolegittoquit 

Preggo Problems: 1. Heartburn. 2. Getting in and out of my car. I feel like I have to slide myself in. After getting Nate in his carseat and myself in, I'm out of breath. 3. I never know what I want to eat.

Movement: A lot of movement. Some are painful, some feel like she is vibrating, some feel like she is trying to escape already. 
Food cravings: COLD drinks. I feel thirsty all day long. Food wise, I am a see it to crave it girl. If I see an ad or someone else eating it, then I crave it. 
Interesting facts about baby (according to pregnancy app): 

1.  She is now strong enough to grasp a finger!

2. Skin is getting smoother and brain is getting more wrinkled for brain tissue. 

3. 3/4 of the way done! 10 weeks left. 70 days until EDD. Not that I'm counting or anything. ;)

Gender: Girl!! And her name is.....

Labor Signs: Nope. 

Belly Button in or out? Out-ish. It's more out than in. Through a shirt it looks out. 
Wedding rings on or off? Off for the moment. I am not swollen, but something is irritating my skin underneath the rings. It's red and itchy. Just taking a few days to let it breath, clean my rings, and see if it goes away.
Mood: Impatient. Happy. Overwhelmed. Tied. Awake. Grateful. Uncomfortable. So many emotions. So. Many. 

Bump Brief #17

Bump Brief #17: 24 weeks

How far along? 24 weeks, baby is the size of a small cantaloupe! 6 MONTHS!!!

Total weight gain/loss: The pounds are packing on now. 150 as of this morning. +3lbs. Not sure if it is all the Oreos I ate or the baby. Probably a combination of both. 
Stretch marks? Nothing new. 
Sleep: Better this week. I forgot to mention last week the dreams nightmares I've been having. I've the same bad dreams where Nate is drowning and the baby girl is kidnapped. Different scenarios, different nights, but each time Nate is in water and someone is taking the baby. What the EFF!? Definitely don't sleep well on those nights. In the past 2 weeks, I've had that nightmare 4-5 times. Not cool. 
Best moment this week: We picked and finalized a name!! 

Miss Anything? Being able to bend over comfortably. I had a splinter this week which was a bitch to get out and shaving my legs is now a task. 
Movement: Moving more and more. Still mostly at night, but I can feel her in the daytime now. I think in the daytime I was doing stuff and not paying attention much to feel, but they are stronger now to feel while being busy. It feels like she is standing straight up and down...punching my ribs and stomping on the bladder at the same time. Think of Mario jumping up to punch a brick to get a coin. That's what it feels like. 
Food cravings: Sushi and strawberry milk. Not together. And no, I haven't had any. 
Interesting facts about baby (according to pregnancy app): 

1. Skin is turning more pink due to the appearance of capillaries.

2. Baby is about 1-1 1/2lbs!

3. Taste buds are forming.

Gender: Girl!! And her name is.....

Morgan means "sea". Emily means "to strive or excel". Emily is after a woman in my life that has been there for me since the day I was born. She is not blood related. She is just one of those people in this world that are truly selfless, generous, hardworking, kind, and the perfect "grandma". If our daughter can possess any of the qualities she has, she will be a wonderful girl. Thank you, Emi, for being my grandma.

Mood: Good! Getting out of my funk I was in last week. I am tired and slightly uncomfortable(my back hurts), but mood is MUCH better! Happy!

Bump Brief #12

Bump Brief #12: 19 weeks

How far along? 19 weeks, baby is the size of a mango!
Total weight gain/loss: -4. Weighed myself this morning thinking the number was going to shock me, but I was still at 143. No idea how this is possible. I should've gained at least 1-2 pounds just from the chocolate cake I ate last night. 
Maternity clothes? I made the mistake of wearing non-maternity pants on a date night. They felt fine standing up, but as soon as we sat down at the table the button was popped. Maternity jeans and leggings from now on. 
Stretch marks? Previous boob stretch marks still. Some more may have popped up, but I'm not into counting how many I have. 
Sleep: Not horrible. Trying to go to bed earlier so I can wake up earlier. By earlier I mean before Nate, which is early. 
Best moment this week: Felt baby move!! She is dancing away in there!
Miss Anything? Dr. Pepper. Haven't had one in a week. 
Movement: Definitely moving now. Feels like she is chewing Bubbalicious bubble gum and blowing bubbles. Can't feel from the outside yet.
Food cravings: Dr. pepper, cold fruit, Flaming Hot Cheetos dipped in cream cheese, chocolate.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nate has to seriously potty train himself and wipe his own ass. It's to a point that he asked, "mama spitting? mama sick?" every time I change his poop diaper. Figure it out, kid! ;)
Have you started to show yet: Getting bigger and bigger!   
Gender: Girl!!! Confirming on February 9th!

Mood: Good, had a busy week so I got tired towards Friday. Feeling excited I can feel her move now. Seems more real and I can't wait until Jason and Nate to feel her from the outside. 

Crappy cell phone pictures because we had a random beach lunch and didn't have our nice camera. The scenery was too pretty to pass up. I'll have to go back another day and get better pictures with the other camera.
